State and federal disaster assistance now tops $7.6 million for Oklahoma homeowners, renters and business owners affected by the May 18-June 2 severe storms, flooding and tornadoes.

Homeowners, renters and business owners affected by the recent severe storms and tornadoes in Oklahoma are urged to register with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), as they may be eligible for disaster assistance.

U.S. Housing and Urban Development Secretary Shaun Donovan today announced that HUD will speed federal disaster assistance to the State of Oklahoma in addition to resources being provided by Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and other federal partners.
