Governor Mary Fallin Requests Public and Individual Assistance for More Oklahoma Counties

Governor Mary Fallin and the Oklahoma Department of Emergency Management (OEM) have requested the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) grant public assistance for 14additional counties hit hard by tornadoes and flooding that began May 5. If approved, the designation would deliver federal funding to assist municipalities, counties and rural electric cooperatives with infrastructure repairs, debris removal and costs associated with responding to the storms

DISASTER ASSISTANCE EXPANDS TO INCLUDE SEVEN MORE COUNTIES FOR RECENT OKLAHOMA STORMS

Homeowners, renters and business owners in seven more Oklahoma counties affected by the recent severe storms, straight-line winds, tornadoes and flooding starting on May 5 through June 4 can now apply for state and federal disaster assistance. Those counties include Beckham, Caddo, Canadian, Marshall, McIntosh, Seminole and Wagoner, which now brings the total to 20.

Aid Approved for 15 More Counties to Assist Local Governments, Rural Electric Cooperatives
