State/Fema Recovery Centers Open In Cleveland, Grady And Oklahoma Counties
OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – June 4, 2015 – (RealEstateRama) — People in Oklahoma affected by the recent flooding, severe storms, straight-line winds and tornadoes May 5 and continuing may now visit Disaster Recovery Centers (DRC) in Cleveland, Grady and Oklahoma counties to get information about disaster assistance that may be available.
The DRC in Cleveland County officially opens Friday, June 5, 2015 at 7 a.m. at this address:

While a visit to the DRC is not required for those applying for federal aid, the centers are one-stop shops where disaster survivors can meet face to face with specialists from the Oklahoma Department of Emergency Management (OEM), the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA).
Applicants must use the name that appears on their Social Security card and will be asked to provide:
• Their Social Security number;
• The Address of the damaged home or apartment;
• Description of the damages;
• Information about insurance coverage;
• A current contact telephone number;
• An address where they can get mail; and
• Bank account and routing numbers if they want direct deposit of any financial assistance.
Disaster assistance may include grants to help pay for temporary housing, home repairs and replacement costs. Low-interest SBA disaster loans may be available to businesses of all sizes, private non-profit organizations, and homeowners and renters for losses not fully compensated by insurance or other recoveries and do not duplicate benefits of other agencies or organizations.
Survivors can apply for state and federal assistance online at www.disasterassistance.gov or via smartphone or web-enabled device at m.fema.gov. People may also call 800-621-FEMA (3362) or (TTY) 800-462-7585. Those who use 711-Relay or Video Relay Services can call 800-621-3362 to register.
