Shuster Helps Advance Transportation and Housing Appropriations Bill

Congressman Bill Shuster (R-Hollidaysburg), Chairman of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, voted in favor of H.R.2577, Transportation, Housing and Urban Development, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 2016 on Tuesday evening. This annual appropriations legislation, which passed the House, authorizes funding for the Departments of Transportation, Housing and Urban Development, and related agencies for FY 2016.

People in Oklahoma affected by the recent flooding, severe storms, straight-line winds and tornadoes May 5 and continuing may now visit Disaster Recovery Centers (DRC) in Cleveland, Grady and Oklahoma counties to get information about disaster assistance that may be available.
